What is the difference between the adjustable main jet and the simply rejetting it higher. I do wanna do the air box mod, as it will increase the airflow and that was one of my goals in the beginning, I think I have seen those drivers on the Recreational Motorsports website, ![]() Now the rollers intrigue me, a 6 inch driver will make a big difference as there will be a lot less resistance. at 3200 rpm there is around 2 hp,but at 3500 rpm, that motor is up to 4 hp, so I guess I want it to engage at around 3400 or 3500, I am still engaging at around 23-2400 rpms, I figure if I can get that engagement up to around 3000rpms, it should take away some of that flat spot on low end. I have been taking the spring and cutting 3 loops off each time to try to raise the clutch engagement. I am still stuck with the stock clutch, but I have a 12 tooth front sprocket now. Right now, I have a huge huge flat spot when he nails it, once it hits mid, it really takes off. I checked out the dealer cost and its 81$ canadian, then I checked out the factory and found that I can pick that up (same exact shock) for 16$ and some change!!! Well I have to replace a front shock as he blew it out the other day. I have the gearing to get me there, but I dont have the motor to get me there, thats my problem. I think the air box mods will help me get more air and fuel into the motor, but I think I am gonna put a pipe on it as well to try to open that motor up. I have not tried the cooking oil yet, I have to find a good time to sneak some out of the house, my wife will crap if she thinks he has to have cooking oil to run it, how long does the cooking oil last? Right now, ours is up to 22 mph, and has loads of top end, but no low end at all, so I have to get more power out of the motor to handle the gears that I have put on it. Try cooking oil on the track before us it works ! The little thing goes up to 24mph Did you ![]() I still have the stock clutch on it and it simply engages too low. when you say bigger drivers, what all do I have to do to the track to pull that off? I am going to get the chain adjuster but I want to get it with the aftermarket clutch. I already have the govenor bypassed, but do not have the intake kit or the adjustable main jet. Gear type and chip the track.did these mods and have not touched the gearing yet. (does away with air box) ajustable main jet, bigger drivers ,chain adjuster Just a thought here on the up grades ,governor by-pass, intake kit ![]()
